Open Hardware

Dev Boards

Two purpose-built development boards designed to run Golden Phase OS natively — exploring phase-state computation in silicon.

Both boards are in active development. Hardware schematics and firmware will be released under open-source licenses.

Phase Computer GPL Board

In Development

The full-featured research platform for Golden Phase OS

The Phase Computer GPL Board is the primary development platform for Golden Phase OS. Designed for researchers, systems programmers, and anyone who wants to run the full Kairos kernel on real hardware. Open hardware, GPL licensed — schematics, PCB files, and firmware will all be public.

Full Golden Phase OS kernel support, hardware phase-state registers, and a native GPL ISA execution unit.

Key features

  • Native GPL ISA execution — no emulation layer
  • Hardware statechain integrity unit
  • ANOM privacy mode hardware switch
  • SSH operator channel via onboard secure element
  • Open schematics and PCB files (KiCad)
  • Full Golden Phase OS kernel + AI control layer support

PhaseBoard Nano

In Development

Compact phase-state experiments for educators and hobbyists

The PhaseBoard Nano is a compact, low-power board for embedded phase-state experiments. Ideal for educators, hobbyists, and anyone who wants to run Kairos on minimal hardware. Designed to be affordable, breadboard-friendly, and fully open source.

Runs the Kairos phase model on a minimal footprint — 4.15 MB OS image, sub-watt power budget.

Key features

  • Minimal 4.15 MB Golden Phase OS image — fits in constrained flash
  • Full four-state Kairos phase model in hardware
  • Breadboard-friendly pinout with labeled phase headers
  • Open hardware schematics (KiCad)
  • MIT-licensed firmware for easy modification
  • Companion teaching materials and example programs
